The Lutheran Hymnal

The Lutheran Hymnal- 1941 edition – is what we have used for these hymns.  An important part of Lutheran heritage, it is an English translation of the German divine service, which is itself a fairly straight translation of the Latin Mass. We are recording these hymns for our children, because they rarely hear them in church, and for ourselves because we love them – this is most certainly true.
