Translated from German to English by Catherine Winkworth, 1863
Winkworth brought the German hymn tradition to English through her translations. For a list of her hymn traslations see Hymntime.

TUNE
LOBE DEN HERREN, by William S. Bennett, 1864

  1. Terry Hasch says:

Thank you! Thank you! We converted to a historical lutheran church a few years ago. Until then hymns were not apart of our worship. We love them now! And like you, could not find any resources to use for our homeschool. I listen to YMB and wanted to say thank you for including Lutheran hymns.
